basketball, and earned All-County honors in both
sports...Attended Georgia Perimeter
College...Enjoys golf...Twin brother, Kevin Green,
played in Braves organization for three seasons.
In 2003...Spent
entire season with Richmond establishing
career-highs in games (124), 2B (26), and RBI
(51)... Went 4-for-4 with 3 2B in 5-0 win over
Pawtucket May 30... Hit .244-8-36 with 13 2B, 3 SB,
and 27R before the all-star break and /255-3-15 with
13 2B, 4 SB and 13R during the second half.
2002...Opened season in Extended Spring Training…
Joined Greenville April 23… Paced G-Braves in home
runs (15) and ranked 3rd in RBI (50) and slugging
(.423)… Hit .235 (4-for-17) through first five games
with Greenville before being placed on the disabled
list May 2-7 due to soreness in his left knee… Went
9-for-14 with 2 2B, HR, and 3 RBI in first five
games back with Greenville May 9-13… Drove in four
runs May 26 versus Orlando (1-for-1, 2 BB, HBP, SF,
HR)… Went 2-for-2 with HR and 4 RBI versus
Birmingham June 21… Hit in 10 consecutive games July
25-August 6 (21-for-50)… Saw action at second base
and shortstop.
2001...Spent most of the season with Myrtle
Beach… Hit in 12 of 15 games April 22-May 8
(19-for-57)… Scored a run in seven consecutive games
May 20-27 (8 total)… Collected a season-high four
hits May 27 at Winston-Salem… Had season-best
nine-game hitting streak May 31-June 8 (14-for-33, 3
2B, 4 HR, 9 RBI)… Drove in a season-best four runs
at Frederick June 26 (3-for-5, 2B, HR, 3R, SB)…
Leading Myrtle Beach club with 47 runs scored when
assigned to Richmond July 7… Had pinch-hit RBI
single off Norfolk’s Pete Walker July 7 for first
Triple-A hit… Made first Triple-A start July 8 at

Season ended prematurely July 15 after tearing ACL
